Position: Biology Teacher - A Level and IGCSE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Biology Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching A Level and IGCSE Biology, with a passion for inspiring and engaging students in the subject. This is a full-time position with a 2-year contract.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in A Level and IGCSE Biology

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students

- Develop and implement effective assessment methods to track student progress

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Biology curriculum

- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress

- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as needed

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of Biology and incorporate relevant information into lessons

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field

- Teaching certification or license

- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching A Level and IGCSE Biology

- Experience teaching in a British Curriculum school is preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Passion for teaching and a student-centered approach to education

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
