About the Role

An exceptional opportunity exists for a senior Electrical Engineer to manage and optimize electrical power systems, infrastructure, and control systems for a key mining client. This role requires extensive experience in high/medium voltage distribution and industrial control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, testing, and maintenance of high-voltage (HV) power distribution, transformers, switchgear, and substations.

• Manage PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation automation networks across plant operations.

• Develop electrical maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure continuous power supply.

• Conduct arc-flash risk assessments and maintain compliance with electrical safety codes.

• Troubleshoot electrical system faults and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the mining industry.

• Demonstrated expertise in HV/MV distribution, switchgear, SCADA/PLC systems, and industrial automation.

• High commitment to safety standards and electrical compliance.

• Availability to start in September 2026.
