Our client in the Agricultural sector is seeking an Internal Audit & Costing Clerk to support the Cost Accountant by verifying the accuracy of production, inventory, payroll, and financial information; conducting operational audits; identifying control weaknesses; and helping improve internal controls and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct stock counts and reconcile physical inventory to system records.
• Audit production records across feed mill, hatcheries, breeder and broiler operations.
• Investigate stock, production and cost variances.
• Audit purchasing, goods received, supplier documentation and petty cash.
• Review payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, leave, incentives and employee data.
• Carry out compliance audits against company policies and procedures.
• Prepare concise audit reports with findings, recommendations and follow-up actions.
• Assist with fraud investigations and special assignments.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve controls and enhance operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Cost & Management Accounting or equivalent.
• Studying towards ACCA, CIMA or similar professional qualification advantageous.
• 2–5 years' accounting, costing or internal audit experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Manufacturing, agriculture or FMCG experience preferred.
