LODGE MANAGER 

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Lodge Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a boutique lodge in Harare. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational standards, managing staff, and driving the overall performance of the lodge.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lodge operations, including accommodation, dining, housekeeping and guest services.
• Lead, supervise and develop lodge staff to ensure high service standards.
• Manage guest relations, reservations, check-ins/check-outs and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Monitor budgets, stock, costs and operational expenses.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety and compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance, suppliers and external service providers.
• Drive occupancy, revenue and overall guest satisfaction.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in a Lodge, Hotel or Boutique Hospitality environment, with management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of lodge/hotel operations, guest relations and hospitality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial and administrative management capabilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• A professional, service-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
